We Believe in the Power of Roots RISE Foundation (Rushimela Indigenous Knowledge and Scientific Education Foundation) is a community-led movement born in the heart of Melghat, Maharashtra. Our mission is simple yet powerful — to preserve the voices, stories, and languages of India’s tribal communities, ensuring that their wisdom continues to guide future generations. We bring together tribal elders, researchers, educators, scientists, and volunteers who share one belief: true education begins in one’s mother tongue.
